After I checked into a bunch of different units, analyzed my bikes issues, and read a lot of threads, I found that I didn't really need one. The decel pop (one of the reasons many motorcyclists buy tuners) is easily corrected for basically no cost. The lean low end (the other big reason most folks buy tuners) was my other issue. It was also easliy corrected for no cost by adjusting the TPS.
I guess what it boils down to is what are you trying to fix with the tuner?
