Kawasaki genuine hand guards and how to get them

I received a reply from Kawasaki Uk in regards to the Kawasaki genuine accessory hand guards: (NOTE..according to the site these only work with 2010 models. I am sure a call to one of the listed dealers would reveal if they may also work on the 1st gen bikes).

Here's the letter and ordering info followed by part numbers and pricing(I took the liberty of included current exchange rates):

Dear Mr Blair,

Thank you for your email.
The hand guards that you have highlighted are available within the UK as genuine accessories. I have attached a link from the KMUK website that details the Versys accessories and their part numbers.

Pricing is competitive with barkbusters which range up to $145 dollars US plus shipping. (per "twistedthrottle.com").
Plus you get hand guards with the 'Kawi" name molded into the face.
Maybe a group buy can save on shipping costs?

Good luck everyone and happy "bark-busting"
OK, I'll shut up now

I have the Kawasaki accessory hand guards on my 2009 with the wider and taller accessory windscreen. They fit without issue.

The ones on e-bay are metal! And are Kawasaki! I'm not big on the plastic ones.
