Throttle Lock {PICS}

I installed a throttle lock I had forgotten I had laying around from my 2003 ZRX1200. Fit like it was made for the Versys and works like a charm. Perfect for the open road so you can take a break from holding the throttle.

I miss my old thumb activated throttle lock I had on my CB750. Very similar to yours. I worked so nicely. When I got my V I opted for a Kaoko lock. It works great once engaged but it is a pain to get it engaged smoothly. Trying to roll the lock on while maintaining speed is a hassle.

What brand is your lock?

Glenno - I have the same Vista Cruise Universal on my '15 V 650. It's a "hand-me-down" that served on my '09 V, my '04 KLR and my '03 Bandit 1200S, so it does NOT 'owe-me-anything'....

Works great! I think I paid like $20 for it years ago off the shelf at my local Honda motorcycle dealer? Worth every penny for sure!

Did you have to move anything to install it?

I moved the front brake master cylinder assembly a 1/4 inch inward and that was it. Fit like it was designed for the bike!

It's actually the "Vista Cruise UNIVERSAL" - they make another which is NOT as good.

Sounds good, guys -- I'll have to pick one up and install it at the same time I'm swapping out my grips.

I added a Vista Cruise, I had to make it my own, because of the heated grips all ready in use.
