full arrow exhaust question

I'm looking to do some work to my stock 09 Versys because as much as I love the bike it feels a little underpowered. The first thing is get a full arrow exhaust system, I don't think there is law for catalytic converter's on motorcycles in the USA is there?
If there isn't does the full arrow have one built in like the OEM does?
cause if not that should add some power. second thing I want to do is something with the intake. any recommended racing air filters or air box modifications anyone knows about?

I plan to get the power commander also because of the mods and because it is suppose to make the bike tuned better.

Welcome aboard. Search through Invader's posts. He's done quite a bit of mods similar to what you're looking for. There are others, but his name jumps out at me.

Invader's good. Look him up.

I installed a Leo Vince aluminum along with a Power Commander V, w/Autotune module. No cat needed. This pipe has a bung for a CO2 sensor which sends data to the Autotune.

Add a free downloadable map similar to your setup, let the Autotune do it's thing and it adjusts fuel settings perfectly to your bike and location.

Better power and best of all Smoothhhhh at small throttle openings. No bike is worth very much without smooth roll-on/roll-off.

Do the PAIR valve fix (search please) along with this.

Not sure, but I think Arrow installs sensor bungs, but you can have one welded into any pipe.

Hope that helps a little.

Lok at blue ridge performance's website. The ninja is almost the same. Airbox mod.s are there along with putting an intake cam in the exhaust side. ninja has more compression and can still run reg. gas as far as I know-so you Could mill the head...
