Welcome aboard, you can have both the side and top racks as long as you don't order the ones through kawasaki. I believe it is because through kawasaki they use a Givi rack for one, and sw motech for the other. If you go after market and get either all sw motech or all givi it will work.

The problem is not that one is from Givi and the other from SW-Motech. The problem is that the Kawasaki branded Givi rack has the grab handles molded into the rack, and therefore can not fit with the SW-Motech rack (which also replaces them). You can fit a Givi rack with the SW-Motech rack or you could also use the SW-Motech rack which offers the quick disconnects if you do not intend to use the side cases all the time.

Has anyone determined (for sure) yet, if the SW-Motech rack leaves enough room for a (not-so-small) passenger to be comfy? The one I had for the Tiger was too tight for her to sit comfortably. Any help? TT says they've fixed this problem, but I'd love some confirmation/comparison.

Thanks in advance.
