handgrip reposition

Guys I need help, I installed some heated grips over the winter and they work great but I have an issue. I failed to put apoxy on the throttle side and now the silly thing has slipped and the bottom portion where the wire used to be has worked its way to the top. Does anyone have an idea how to repostion the the grip or remove it w/o destroying the grip or damaging the throttle. Thanks for any input.

Hi Carter,

Used a air gun to blow compress air into the gap between the grip and the throttle. While you are doing this, message, pull and turn out the grip.
Keep pressing the air gun while going around the grip while pulling it out. Do this repeatably bit by bit till you succeed.

Air gun like this:

Used this way to change my stock grips to BMW ones.

Gasoline injected with a vet syringe will free it up. When I want to save a golf grip I take it off that way.

I've used a 'squirt' of WD40.
