How to remove the seat?

OK, here is real newbie question. Before I break something, what is the technique for removing the seat on the 2010 V?

Confirmed. It doesn't slide off too easily, you have to give it a quick jerk and apply some pressure to unhook the seat from the bike.

+1 for what everyone else said.
If you have trouble getting it back on the first few times, don't get discouraged.... trust me, it gets easier and easier, until you get to the point where it seems like you could throw it on and 99 times out of 100 it would snap into place.
