Have you seen one of these?

I know this is bad, but I bought one of these a few years ago. It has been bouncing around the tool box. I forgot who made it. There is a brown wire, a red wire, and a yellow wire. I would like to finally use it on the Versys. Except, I am not sure if the Brown goes to ground, or what the yellow is for? Does this look familiar?

Anyone?

I would guess brown to ground and red to power. Do you know if it is suppose to be a switched unit? That is usually what the extra wire is for, but that is only a guess.

Steve

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

You should get all you needs in the link below and the 3 wires, my good guess is
1= Live direct to battery
2= Live connected to switch
3= Ground.

Hope its of some help and you can also look in the ongoing thread- Adding Gadgets.

Most people ( including myself ) use a powertap off the rear tail light. It's relatively easy to get at and I use it to switch the heated grips/heated jacket hookups using my Fuzeblock setup.
