12v Accessory Plug/Socket

So i fitted my 12v Socket in the dash and went to plug in directly to the Harness as it says in the manual but there is no 12v supply!!! (Page 73 and 74)

Accessory Socket - Plus White/Red, Negative Black/White

However, no power even with the ignition on..........???

Any ideas on this one?

Thanks,

Darius.

You need a relay to power the circuit. You can get it at the Kawasaki dealership. It plugs in behind the fairing on a 2015. Without the relay there is no power to the wires it's no big deal at all.

Do a search for power socket relay and you'll see it. But here's a drawing. The relay is 99994B

Or was that look THEN leap?

Garage
Have you considered using some sort of power distribution module?

I installed a PDM60 and am quite pleased with the flexibility to add multiple powered accessories

Trigger wire tapped into the wiring harness below the left side of the tank

Was originally going to put the PDM60 under the seat but zip-tied to two adhesive mounts on the tank made more sense

The cigarette lighter outlet on the left and dual USB outlet on the right

There's enough room in the harness boot to tuck away all the extra wires.
