You can TIG weld it, and get a centerstand too, if you don't have a lowered bike. And actually you can get a lowered centerstand by migwelding/cutting the SW steel centerstad. MIG welding is not rocket science and anyone who welds can do it for cheap, PLUS you would lower the weight of the centerrstand: win-win scenario :-)
All of you people with lowered bikes should just adapt the SW centerstand, but you still have to buy the centerstand first. It would be hard for me to ever be without a centerstand for maintenance and tire/chain routine every other day aids. Do you strap a lift on your back when touring on the ONLY supermoto touring bike? You don't tour on the only midrange cam supermoto tourer? Shame on you!
All it takes is ONE member to start, and EVERYONE would do it then. On BMW F650 Chain Gang site, all the height challenged people cut their centerstands and share notes: but you can always add and subtract metal legs as needed.
