A few days back I noticed some oil on the garage floor, but couldn't see any leaks till I looked at my left fork - wet along the inner tube and the base around the axle.
Searched out a 4" piece of 35mm film, slid it up between the fork lower and the seal, then pulled it around-and-up-and-down a few times, then left it alone while I went to hunt gophers in Alberta for a week....
When I returned I emptied the car, then approached the GREEN HORNET, ran my finger along the fork-lower - DRY!!!
Pulled the front wheel and fender, then the left fork (was able to do that w/ the fairings STILL in-place), then removed the top plug and the spring, measured the oil-level (down a BIT), added about 2oz of ATF, re-checked the level (removed a bit), then put it all back together.
Went for a 220 km ride yesterday, and still dry when I got home.
