Givi Case HELP!!!

Givi's website now lists the 2010 Versys hardware!!

I am interested in adding side and top cases (3) to my 2010. Also need the passenger pad for the top case.

I really am at a loss with their website on the hardware I require to accomplish this.

http://www.giviusa.com/My-motorcycle...&mo=Versys-650

Anybody have all three and willing to offer some help with part numbers & photos of theirs installed? I would really be thankful for the guidance.

Thanks In advance!

Bags

I've got a 2010 too and have been waiting for the same parts you want. The US site does not have the top rack kit (451 FZ)listed yet. You would need this to do all 3 if you are sticking with the Givi brand which I think is the way I'm going to go. They have it on the Italian and UK sites so I'm sure it will be here soon if it isn't already and just not on the site.

As to the different kits (PLR 450 and PLXR 450) they are for diffenent side cases. If you want the V35 cases which are countoured on the inside where they meet the bike you will need the PLXR 450 kit. Other wise the PLR is for bags that are flat on the inside which is about everything else.

So if I want to go with the V35 sides only, I need to buy the cases, PLXR450, and the 450 Kit?

If I want the top case later, will it work with the sides I just listed?

Thanks a bunch!

Also, who is a good online vendor to order this stuff from?

Try http://www.twistedthrottle.com. They are very helpful and will make sure you order the right parts!

Steve

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

Your correct and yes you can add the top case later. You will just not need the 450 kit any more. The top rack comes with these mount points that are added by the 450 kit.

Sharrison is right about Twisted Throttle too.

I'm sure they sould have the 451 FZ top kit pretty soon. That is what I'm waiting on for my install.

I contacted Givi regarding the hardware needed to mount the top case. he wrote back that it should be available by the end of May. I opted for just the top case, myself. Already got the V46 with the lighting and rack. The question I have is, do I need a rack for the case and a plate to mount on the rack to hold the case? This would mean 2 more pieces. you are right, the Givi site does not go into specifics regarding this.
