Driven Racing sprockets and chain

I found a kit from Driven Racing for 179.00. Thatís 2 steel sprockets and a chain. Looks like good stuff and they are used by ducati. Anybody know anything about them? Experience with their products? I'm over to 15000 miles and my chain is going so I'm in the market. Guess I did pretty good considering I carry about 200 pounds of gear everywhere with me for work plus my fat butt.

the steel sprockets are fine,better than alu in terms of longevity .
the chain is the key here,what type is yours?
original chain of versys (enuma brand) is durable and as i have seen lasts a bit longer than aftermarket.its not so fashion though

The drive train is OEM and I'm not looking for fashion. Yes steel is better then alu in terms of drive trains! I'm looking for something that will last longer then OEM which did really well and I'll go with that again if there is nothing out there that will go 15000 plus miles. Seems to me after market would be the place to look for longer wear. Again anybody with experience with driven or any aftermarket products that have out preformed OEM please let me know what you think.

No personal experience with their products, but several buddies have used their sprockets on supermoto bikes and liked them. Granted, longevity on a supermoto is not really an issue.

Its the gold chain and its for the Ninja 650R. You get 2 steel sprockets and the gold chain.

Can you call them and ask which brand and model of gold 520 chain is included in the set? Toll free number is only for USA...

So just a fast report about Driven Racing. Great product and even better service. Chain and sprockets came fast and they slapped right on they no problems. They even cut the chain to fit my bike and it fit perfectly. I will buy from them again.

So what brand and model of chain is it? Gold 520 EK SRXL, SRX, MVXZ, RXO or ZZZ (metallic gold), RK XSO or GXW? Was it $179.00 plus shipping for the set?

I went with the 520 SRX X ring too get more life out of the kit. I went with the heavy duty chain because I carry lots of weight on the bike and log tons of miles for work. I also got the steel sprockets the total with shipping was a little over 200. I'll report back as too how many miles I get of this set up. I got 18000 out of the OEM but I should have replaced at 17000.

That's strange. Of all Driven Racing's listed available gold 520 chains (EK SRXL, SRX, MVXZ, RXO, ZZZ, or RK XSO, GXW), EK's SRX (8500 lbs tensile strength, 3.70 lbs per 100 link, max displacement: 750, max HP: 90) is the second lowest in terms of quality, strength, and price... It was good on a WR426F I had.

-Tensile Strength, Wear Life Index, lbs per 100 link, Max Displacement-

EK
SRXL: 8000, 1200, 3.50, 650
SRX: 8500, 1200, 3.70, 750
MVXZ (+ZXV): 9000, 1500, 3.99, 1000
RXO: 8500, 1000, 3.56, 1000
ZZZ: 9400, 1700, 3.97, 1000

RK
XSO: 8500, 750, 3.41, 750
GXW: 8800, 1000, 3.75, 1000
