Wow... At 195 lbs solo and no gear, I went back from #4 to #3 preload setting and 12 clicks out from hardest rebound damping setting, making it more compliant without bottoming out on pretty rough roads and demanding conditions. I don't like slowing down for deep sharp dips in our 'roads'... Forks offered marginal support at maximum preload with 3/4 turn out on rebound damping with stock 10W fork oil, then at 3 turns out from max preload and 7/8 turn out with 15W.
This gives me a 40 mm front sag, and 48 mm rear sag.
