Versys electrical system: 5V anywhere?

Is any part of the Versys electrical system 5V, or is it all only 12V?

I wanted to have a thermometer on the V, so I bought a PC thermometer which unfortunately needs 5VDC input.

If needs be, I will use an LM7805 to regulate down from 12V to 5V, but I was hoping to just find a 5V source that I could tap into.

Is that an outside temperature PC thermometer? No 5 volts on the Versys. The ECU, and the O2 sensor (where applicable) runs on the battery's 12 volts...

easy enough to get a 5V power

buy a mobile phone car cable/MP3 player. but check the voltage and current. or buthcer an existing one for an old phone.

failing that find the current of the device and then buy a voltage regulator appropriate for the thermometer.some smoothing capacitors and knock one up.
