Need advise a charging probem

I have to get back to work in what is now my chosen line of work in about 1 month! In the mean time I have only been riding Total loss for the last 3 months. Advice has led me to conversion to all LED lighting. Has been led me to this? A Compufire R/R has been suggested as a better replacement? I was a PRO bike wrench 10 years ago! If I recall correctly... there has been a con versation about a need for a relay circuit to stop a milliamp draw. KEY OFF? Can someone please enlighten me to best sources for what I need to rescue my beloved Versys and SOON PLEASE?? Need a stator also and would like more wattage.. Any idea's????
