Double Tech Day tomorrow

Well I'm going to suck it up and do both bike tomorrow. Full service on them, Oil and filter, air filter, plugs and valve check. I did coolant earlier this year as they had a "HazMat Day" and would take the old coolant something they normally won't do.

The Versys is doing the Tappy Valve noise, a good sound to me as quiet valves tend to burn!

Should I drain the oil and then pull everything and do the check and wait until last to refill. Or should I wait to drain and fill at the end?

I picked all the goodies already I even got copper anti seize and dielectric grease for the stick coils and (on the KLR) plug wire.

Or was that look THEN leap?

I would do the valves. Run it up to check all is OK, then change the oil & filter.

Ditto

That way anything like assembly grease on the cam and buckets is washed with the old oil and drained.
