Added a fuse box

I got a "5028 ST Blade Fuse Block w/ Cover" from Amazon for $28.32. Here's a pic.

I ran 3 pairs of wire to the front and tied the grounds together with a wire to a ground point.

I have my Nuvi500 going to the 12V dash outlet. (Plug from FM traffic adapter is rather big. I might use a Rt angle adapter.)

I have my transformer for my XM Radio Roady XT which uses the RoadyHolder I had used on my previous V-Strom.

Haven't wired up my Valentine 1 yet.

My Gerbings and my Battery Tender Cable are wired in.

I have the fuse box sitting where the tool bag used to be.

I am so glad I had the GPS with traffic and the Versys today. There was a major accident and I had to do a lot of zig zagging around it in unfamiliar territory. I had to ride many miles down Rt 1 instead of I-95. The Versys was so much better to have in heavy traffic than my prev GoldWing. The Dennis Kirk mirrors helped too. I made it to work and got on my conference call late just in time for my turn to present. Whew!

Tony

Looks like a Blue Sea fuse box. I have the same one in the same place.

How is your box attached to the bike? My old, double-sided tape wasn't an optimal solution.

What devices did you wire up?

I used the rubber strap that held down the tool kit.

I have a powerlet socket, an electronic deer alert and fork mounted lights wired into the Blue Sea.
