Sprocket Cover Removal ??

My 2011 V has a sprocket cover that is secured with two bolts. One is sunk about 3" deep in the cover? I've tried a smooth walled long 8mm socket but its still to big to reach the head of the bolt.

How do I loosen and remove this bolt?

You need a 1/4" drive socket and extension.

Garage
Enjoy the mess that the front sprocket cover is hiding!

I found it therapeutic cleaning all the gunge.

Found that! The grunge is pretty thick. Evidently the original owner that put the first 3,600 miles on my V never bothered to take off the cover. Itll never be dirty again, at least not for long before it gets a good cleaning.
