Hi to all!!
I'm Alberto from Italy, i've a Versys Orange 2007.
In 26th of June unfortunately i crashed alone in a bad turn. Now i'm searching original spare parts for my Versys out of italy, because here are too expansives.
May someone suggest me a on-line spare parts dealer?

Thanx to all and sorry for my english !!!

What parts are you looking for?

Steve

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one!

Ciao Alberto!

There were no 2007 Versys in the US, and we never got the orange ones, so you may no be able to find the right color body parts.

Try these:

Ron Ayers

Bike Bandit

This is a British site, not sure it's cheaper than Italian ones:

WeMoto

Hi, sorry for my late to answer sharrison56,
i'm searching for (from Versys parts catalog):

41073A 41073-0053-795 Wheel-assy,FR,M.F.P.Silver
43001 43001-0084 Lever-brake, pedal
13236 13236-1337 Lever-comp, front brake
13042 13042-1006 Weight, handle
56052 56052-0350 Mark, kawasaki
56054 56054-0107 Mark, upp cowling, versys
14091E 14091-0751-11J Cover, radiator,RH,F.S.Black

After the crash, i've to repaint a lot of parts. My idea is to repaint my
bike like the Lime Green model. In this model the wheels are black, not like my model where the wheels are silver.
Now my question is: is possible to replace the front wheel silver of A7F('07) model, with the black front wheel of the A8F('08) model? If this is possible, i'll repaint only the rear wheel in black and not all the wheels!

Thanx to all,
ciao a tutti,
Alberto

Ps: Thanx Gustavo for your answer, i know BikeBandit, now i try with the other links!

Hello Alberto,

I'm in a similar situation as you.
A few days ago i dropped my orange Versys '07. (zero speed luckily) and there is some damage on the left side.

Handlebars are slightly bend.
Clutch lever is bent but still works.
Shifter lever is bent to the inside just a little bit.
And plastic cover is scratched where the letters Kawasaki are.

I'm also searching for affordable Euro based shop that sells OEM and aftermarket parts.

Best of luck to you.
Cheers.

Hi, thanx for all!!
@contractor: thanx for your link, i hope to find all the parts.

@ivan V: i'm sorry for your situation. Unlucky, my crash was at 30/35 mph in a left corner, in a town. Gravel on the road and i lost the control of my bike. I fell down on the sidewalk and my right leg caught in a part of the frame, i don't know where, and the bike drag me for few meters.
Result: my right tibia was broken in "explosive way" crushed between my bike and sidewalk edge!..........4 hours of operating theatre, 12 screws and 2 plaques to replace and fix my tibia!
Now i'm walking on crutches, but i'm thinking to my bike because i'll return to ride it!

I'm 46 years old but i was biker from eighteen and this is my first serious crash. But it isn't the reason to stop riding for me! LOL :-))

Thanx for all your help on this forum, you're the best!!

Alberto.

Very sorry to hear about your injury.
My leg also got trapped under the bike and I have bruises and swelling on my knee and ankle. It's almost incomparable to your injury but I can imagine the pain and discomfort you must have been through.
Speedy recovery to you.

Yep, just noticed that myself.
It's shame.

My situation is even more complicated since Euro web-shops won't ship to my country because it's outside of EU.

This site will ship anywhere but I couldn't comlepte the order for some reason.

Went to the dealership/stealership yesterday: Clutch lever is 16euro.
I didn't bother asking about other parts.

Cheers.

Hi Ivan,
I visited this web-shop but it isn't cheap!
Kawasaki Part Nation, answer that they ship in Europe in 2010 and that i must wait to get a order from their shop.
But I've saw few web-shop also in USA that ship in Europe.
I'm studying the condition of shipping to understand if is really cheap than Italy.
The official dealer near my town suggest me a total of 748 euro in spare-parts. But those are only the parts that I THINK are necessary change.

Ciao, Alberto

I have the 2007 part : 14091E 14091-0751-11J Cover, radiator,RH

I has a few scuffs on it, no cracks. Needs a little sanding and paint. I've been saving it just in case I need it. A couple of the photos are a little fuzzy. My Blackberry doesn't like close ups, however, you can see the minor scuffs.

I replaced it with the OEM from a Kawi dealer in Hamilton, ON. If memory serves I think I paid $68.00 CDN. for the part. It kind of shocked me how much they want for a little piece of plastic. Not sure how that compares with Italian prices, with the Euro at 1.58 - 1.60 CDN.

Let me know if you are interested in it.
