Did anyone fitted this gear indicator on his bike?

It SHOULD be plug and play. Just find the right open plug on your bike and you're golden. I believe it's a diagnostics plug of sorts. I know on my 2011 model I have found at least 3 or 4 plugs that are just hanging with nothing attached. What year is your bike?

2008, but in the description of the product they are talking about wires colors and stuff and I am noob at electrinics...

It looks like there would be quite a bit of splicing AND the wires are pretty short so you would have to add length of wire to make it fit on your dash... it looks like a BIG PITA really Expecially if you are not handy with electronics. IF you have the $$ just get the nicer one and plug it in and go
