Rear brake fell off

but it was completely my fault. Had the rear wheel off and apparently didn't get the caliper tightened up completely. I was noticing a weird noise while riding to work. I was convinced it was the chain or exhaust. I did check the front brakes though. Took it into the parking garage to diagnosis further and the rear caliper came off and I ran over it. Damaged the hose and lost all the fluid. Luckily I found one of the bolts and was able to ride home. Thank goodness I don't use the back brake much. Stupid Stupid!!!!!

I feel your pain, I have done some things I am not too proud of.

I find that as I age, I am 68, I need to check and recheck my work to see what I have forgotten. Almost always, I come up with something that I didn't complete the first time around.

An old saying, haste makes waste, is now my current saying.

Measure twice, cut once comes to mind as well. I do wood working, and find that one especially helpful.

Glad yours wasn't any worse. I bet there are plenty of others out there who can relate to your story as well.

Regards August

Anybody else think these buffalo wings taste a lot like chicken?
