Lustre for Exhaust Headers

Are there any good methods and chems to bring the headers back to the lustred showroom condition ? How I wish they're dual-layered with everlasting chrome. I don't even like the Titanium / Stainless Steel, blue coats either.

Maybe an aftermarket deal ?

The change in color of my stainless steel headers are not a problem... they're a feature!

IF DavyF responds - he's the MAN when it comes to polishing V pipes!

Here's Davy F's original post... But his photobucket pictures are missing.

He said he used Autosol metal polish.

Thanks for the link Genehil. If I do mine, I'll post some before / after pics or maybe do one pipe and leave the other intact. That'll be a better comparisson. If it doesn't last, I'll chrome it (outer side only of course)

If you want something different - how about "wrapping" them, or getting them ceramic coated (inside and out) for a power increase?
