Bolt in upper left cowling

I was cleaning my bike after some heavy rain/dirty I experienced over the weekend and noticed a shiny little glimmer inside my upper left cowling. I removed the windshield and then to cowling, only to find a small bolt with the #7 at the top of it. I searched all over (above, beside, etc) and could not find where this bolt came from. Do you think it is possible they accidently dropped it in there and were too lazy to take it out?

AND there was also a small piece of rubber inside of it, which I believe was from the 2nd bolt (2nd from the front of the bike) for the upper left cowling (as i looked at a diagram online and the cowling should have 2 large pieces of rubber in 2 of the bolts (2nd from the front and the very bottom one). This only made me believe moreso that whoever was putting it together may have been lazy.

Any thoughts?

2009 Versys with 500 km on it.

Thanks

I can't really take photos.... There was a bolt in the left cowling... sitting in the bottom of it (it can't really sit anywhere else (i.e. gravity), unless wedged). #7 on the bottom of the bolt... about 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch maybe...

Ever solve #7 bolt issue

I washed my 2009 versys on week end, and when I started after to dry her out good I heard a tinkle, then I rev again and poof a clean # 7 bolt falls to the ground!
I can not see where it belongs, mind you I haven't removed cooling or anything yet!!
Thanks
