a new buzz

I thought I had the dreaded cowl buzz, but I isolated it to...the clutch perch!....I'm not even gonna bother with this, but...

I just got the dreaded buzz which I thought I already had but appearently which just got worse, it is between 4500 and 5000. Does anyone know if there is a Technical Service Bulletin for this mine is still under warranty

armcphail, I find that it is all related to the faring mounting bolts. I just tighten the screws up it goes away for a thousand miles or so, then comes back out and I get out my wrenches. I'm thinking some rubber grommets might do the trick, or at least change the harmonic. For me, my left handlebar buzzes, but not the right... Weird.

I think you are right because I just took the right side off to replace the antifreeze with amzoil synthetic, also switched over the oil, it was raining and the kids were away I had to do something. I will try it out.
