So, at almost 3yrs old and 42,500+ miles, I decided to flush my cooling system.

You can never go wrong by using chemicals with the Honda name on them. They're picky about stuff like that. I was thinking of going to EngineIce on mine. Not that it runs hot, but the fact there's no actual temp gauge I'd like something in there that will dissipate the heat a little better. I have it in all my other bikes, but they need it. At about $40 a gallon, I'm not sure the Versys need$ it that much.

The only problem with engine ice if you bike ever gets exposed to tempatures below 32F your engine block will crack. It is not any more effective than regular Etheline glycol/water coolant, it just does not form a slippery surface if spilled - why it is used at the track. Etheline glycol coolants are banned at the track for this reason - a crash where coolant is spilled could lead to a slippery track otherwise.
