Fuel Gauge - reserve warning not working

I had to replace my fuel pump a while back as I broke off the tip removing my tank to synch the carbs. I see others on this site have done the same thing so be careful!

Since replacing the fuel pump, my reserve warning no longer flashes. Ran out of gas the other night, fortunately I had CAA (AAA) and a cell phone to call them. They showed up with 10L of complementary gas about 15 min after calling. (thumbs up)

Is there a way to fix this?

You still have your original pump? Take out the one you have in tank and inspect...

My warning light comes on so early I just ignore it. Set the tripometer and go from there.
