chain and sprocket, best source

My '08 V (16K) has an aftermarket front sprocket installed by the PO for highway riding. Problem is that not having the rubber damper that is on the factory sprocket, it is noisy. Too noisy in fact and I want to put the original front sprocket (still in good condition) back on and buy a new chain and 43T rear sprocket. Goal is to still have lower rpm at 80mph while getting rid of the noise.

Any suggestions for best source and quaility?

I see a bunch on ebay but have no idea of quality.

Thanks for any help

FYI - There is a thread here somewhere on buying the larger rubber damped countershaft sprocket - use the kawasaki 600 model number. It fits our V.

My OEM sprockets are "Sunstar" brand, and I'd recommend the same.

Do you mean I can buy a 43T rear from the dealer? Or find an outside source for the "Sunstar"?

I go to my dealer. Ohh, I do check the prices on the net, then go into my dealer and ask them what it will cost for what I am looking for. If they come close to the cost, then I order from my dealer.

Walked into my dealer on Monday, ordered a 44 tooth rear sprocket, they said that it should be here on Friday. I received a phone call on Thursday to say that my sprocket was in. Picked it up today. $40. I know that if there is a problem with any of the products that I get from my dealer, I just return them, no problem.
