I had trouble lining up the shock so the bolts for the lowering kit lined up properly.
The key was to support the bike under the foot pegs. This allowed the shock to move freely up and down by being able to adjust the swing arm / rear tire up and down with small adjustments. I used a angled piece of wood to make small adjustments under the rear tire. It worked perfectly.
Wish I would have thought of this first before I started hitting the lowering kit assembly with a hammer!!!!lol...
I also lowered the front suspension and loosen the chain to complete the process.
I'm 5'8" and I can just about flat foot the bike after the install.
