Stock triple clamp height
Was poking around my Versys in anticipation for getting my seat redone this weekend, and I'm wondering - what is the "stock" setting for the triple clamp? Is it in the middle of the smooth bit?
Was reading a few threads about people lowering their Versys's, and someone mentioned dropping the front an inch... I can't see how you'd drop it an inch from stock and still be on the smooth section, unless stock standard it was at the top of the smooth part? I've dropped mine about 10mm from when I picked the bike up from the dealership (it was an ex-demo), and have about 5mm (from memory) under the clamp to the ribbed surface.

Found the settings in the technical manual - 12mm measured from the top of the fork to the top of the upper clamp. I've got 26mm, so I guess my forks have been dropped 14mm from stock.
