Engine starts and runs with IAP hose unhooked from TB?

Was it someone on here that noticed that the engine can start and run with the inlet air pressure sensor hose unhooked from the TB, with the 'FI' indicator lit?

yes today i checked it with my spark plug periodic change.the engine does start with the air inlet sensor off and the FI indicator was on.
