Newbie question.

I have had about a bizillion bikes, and I gotta say, 2 days into the Versys and I it is a keeper. But I got a question. I am the second owner and whom ever had it first adjusted the brake pedal so low I nearly have to do a ballet toe point to depress it. Anything to raising it besides loosing the nut on the back and ratcheting it up?

No other complaints, great bang for the buck!

It was likely never adjusted, which is why the pedal is too low. It just needs to be adjusted up to proper height, by loosening the locknut and turning the push rod out (counterclockwise) with the hex head.

And readjusting the brake light switch which is right above the pedal adjustment. Its as easy as you think it is...

Oh, & welcome aboard!

If you're like me (i.e. need additional instructions!) then I'd suggest going to Sir Speedy's website - motowerk.com. He has the pictures and instructions written out for doing this adjustment for his footpeg lowering blocks. If I can do it....a 5 year old can!

Cheers
