Givi Top Case with Stock Side Bags?

I was wondering if anyone has put a givi trunk on a bike that came with the hard side bags?

I ordered a V46 top case with the 447fz adaptor for the Versys. I see that the rack for the side bags are PL447, which should work with the Top case. But it looks like the rack that came on the bike is not the PL447, it looks different.

So my question is, will the 447fz for the top case work with the rack that came on the bike, or will I have to replace that with a 447fz?

Thanks!!

Pics? It all depends on what side racks are on the bike.

For pre-2010 bikes, you can have
- Givi top rack and Givi side racks
- Givi top rack and OEM side racks (Givi V35)...just fit together loosely and have a lot of patience
- OEM top rack and SW-Motech side racks
- SW-Motech top rack and SW-Motech side racks
- Some people with access to a grinder have made the OEM or SW-Motech top racks work with the OEM side racks...
- it's possible the racks are something else (Happy Trails, Hepco & Becker, etc)

Without knowing what the side racks are, it's difficult to say what the best option is.

I can't speak for the 2010+ bikes.

I have OEM side racks, 2009. I want to be sure people have got them to fit before I try, as if I try and they they don't work I could no longer return them

Looking good Twiznoy. I have Givi side racks with E21s on now but when the weather clears up I'll be adding my top case too. Glad to see it works out OK.

Always trust your cape.

The hardest part by far was actually attaching the back rest to the trunk, lol.
