Larger throttle bodies

I am installing a ported head and the head supplier has recommended 44mm throttle bodies.
Is there another Kawi model with this size that can bolt right on to the Versys/Er head?

I know that the existing TB can be bored to 44mm but I have never done this before and you can bet that the only decent machine shop here in Chiangmai Thailand has not done it either.
Is it as simple as chucking the TB in a 4 jaw, and boring it out on a lathe?
Bore straight through or taper it? If taper does anyone have the necessary dimensions?
Presumably one then needs to make a new butterfly plate?

Great pics and worksmanship and I think that I can see what is going on, but not too clear on how the taper bore is done

Not sure, but I managed to do the same on my Toyota's throttle body by hand with a drum sander on power drill.

Is there a bolt on 44mm TB as I am sure that this will get lost in translation at the machine shop
