Simple Phone Connection to Bike Help

Hopefully this is a simple question with a simple answer as I don't want to invest a lot of time or money. While this isn't about my Versys specifically it's related as I had moved my gps to my Versys when I bought it last year. I had planned on selling my Ninja 650 but she is still around. I want to get a phone ram mount for it but was wondering, what is the simplest way to connect a usb power cord to the phone from the bike. The Ninja is virtually bone stock and the only electrical mod is a pigtail coming off the battery leads for winter storage. Is there a cable I can run from the pigtail to the phone? Would I need some sort of fuse? Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

I bought a voltage meter that plugs into the SAE pigtail that includes 2 USB plug-ins.

MICTUNING SAE to USB Cable Adapter with Blue Voltmeter 4.2A Dual USB Charger for Motorcycle for Smart Phone Tablet GPS https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0761KJSDV?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Stuck one Velcro dot on the back of the meter and one on the frame of the bike to keep it from flopping around.

I usually mount a USB socket (you can drill holes, or use double stick tape and mount a small flat one under the dash area) and wire it unto something up front, like the head light or front marker light. On my Versys, I installed the accessory relay (I have one for sale in the classifieds) and then wired everything into that. Then I use a RAM X-mount to hold the phone.

12V USB adapters:

I used a ram ball on my SWMotech GPS mount, but there are many different ways to mount one.
