Exclamation Dropped V now buzzing, not from cowl...

Hi guys.

It's been a while since I've posted and I'm kind of at a loss. Last night I had my first slide ever in 10 years of riding. (I'd say at about 10-15km/h) It was a low speed, and thankfully my H&B Cage was there (first time I ever needed it in 5 years!) to protect everything that mattered.

The issue is I'm getting an intense vibration at around 4000RPM. Now I've dealt with the cowl issue originally back in 2008, and I've removed the fender fairing. The vibration noise will appear briefly at 4000RPM and it sounds lower than the gauge area. I get it when riding (I rode home), engine braking down past 4000, and stationary when I rev past 4000 to 5000.

The H&B Cage protected the entire engine and rad area, not a scratch except the left handbar knob, clutch knob and rear kick stand peg bracket. Do anyone have any ideas what this could be?

THANKS!

Check to see whether or not the H-Bs were "tweaked" in your low-side into touching something...?

...and obviously check all your fasteners everywhere to see if anything is loose, including under the seat. ?

Someday is not a day of the week.

My bike also buzzes from 4-5k approximately. I've removed all the fairings from my bike and the sound sounds like it's coming from someplace lower then the instrument cluster. I think it might be the steering lock tab.
