Master link of chain

I replaced chain sprocket on my 2015 versys 650 with D.I.D (DKK-005) 520VX2 Chain and 15/46T Sprocket Kit. Due to lack of time i went to dealership to get this installed. Please see attached images of master link. What you experts think.. Is this installed correctly?

Hope you didn't pay much for it.
Without feeling the fit I would have bounced the job just for being that sloppy on a potentially fatal job.

Not sure what all those rings are around the plate but, if you have a caliper gauge you should measure the pins to be "mushroom'ed within 5.3 - 5.7 mm. At least that's how I do mine.

Blurry image or my bad eye sight... is the x-ring actually bursting out? If so, really bad!
The plate does seem pressed too much.

Otherwise I can't see that much. For the flaring, I use a caliper, not so much for perfection but because I have one and I won't rely on guesses when I can do better faster with an instrument.

You think I should immediately replace master link?

If you had a "respectable" dealership do this, IMO, I wouldn't worry about it. You got a good chain so it should hold up fine. I would just check it every time you clean and lube it.
Also, if you don't have a caliper they're on sale for $10 at Harbor Freight!

you paid a shop of "professionals" to install it properly and they didnt. id take it back and demand it be done right and replaced on there dime.... if that was to fail as you ride not only could you crash and die a fiery death.... and damage the bike..
