Things you don't want to hear

"Oops that wasn't supposed to happen"

Was installing the Standard Flatfoot kit from Speedy and my little girl was assisting by wrenching the nut on for the l-bracket. She kept tightening and actually broke the screw in the nut.

Oh well no biggy. Just have to wait from a reply from Speedy to see about a replacement screw to order. Since it is going to downpour most of the week its not a big deal to me. The time we spent cleaning the chain and sprocket and installing the flatfoot was worth more to me so no biggy.

Lesson learned for her. When it's tight stop turning

"Why do I ride?"
