Voltmeter install questions

For everyone who has installed a voltmeter on the Versys, what wires did you hook it to? I'm just trying to get the most accurate reading possible. Did anyone measure the voltage drop difference from the wire they tied into? Thanks again

I used the small running light on the upper right front. It reads about 0.1 volt lower than the direct battery reading.

Ahhh of course... The power source outlet on the switched 12V orange wire with green tracer and ground black wire with yellow tracer, up under left fairing panel.

Bought from the same HK company on ebay. It came very well packed and about 3 weeks to deliver.
