stupid clutch lever!

Gah! I never though replacing a stupid clutch lever would be so hard. 10mm socket won't fit cause that damn micro switch then I tried to take said micro switch and stripped the head of one of those tiny screws that they lock righted in place. Some one in here said a thin walled socket might help. Thought mine were pretty thin but I will have to give it a try and go buy one. Hope I don't have to remove that micro switch any time soon ......unless I have to to get that lever off to replace. Ahhh!

Replaced my clutch lever 2 weeks ago. Very simple, no need to remove any micro switch. But, the socket needs to be thin enough to slip between the switch and the nut. Mine was a tight fit, but it worked fine. Try rotating the socket a little bit at a time. First 2 times I tried mine it would not go on the nut. But, rotating the socket the third time it was "snug", but it went on just fine.

Watch for the spring that may want to pop away as you remove the lever. Best thing is take your time, look everything over carefully as you proceed. Took me about 12 minutes total.

Be certain to apply lube/grease to the cable pivot point.

Only replaced the clutch lever as it was broken.
Replaced it with a black one.

Don't be afraid to take that socket to the grinder and thin it down some. A new socket is only a couple of bucks.

I install mine without problems... I also thought I have to remove that electronic sensor but itīs not necessary. I get them from e-bay, very cheap!
