I'd have to use a compression guage to check the compression. I'd also like to look at the spark plugs for a clue of what might be happening. How old are the spark plugs?

A good mechanic, experienced with the V, might be able to listen thru the exhaust pipe while slowly rotating the engine and listen for "hissing" along with "feeling" the compression stroke. This approach would catch a significant problem (burnt valve, broken ring).

I haven't heard of such problems, so it's more likely bad spark plugs, un-balanced throttle-bodies, poorly set throttle-position-sensor. Look over some of the comments by Invader.

Also, normal warmed up idle should be set to 1300 rpm beside what's already mentioned.... What mileage are you at, and were the valve clearances checked?

I don't have any experience on fuel controllers but you might want to check your Juice Box as well.

What are the total odometer miles?

How many miles are now on that valve adjustment you had last year?
