It's easier to adjust them to a softer setting than swapping them out.

What other bike's front end will match the Versys fork length?

The forks are adjustable. Take a look at your manual.

If you are super light person the other alternative is to put in lighter weight fork oil.

You might want to measure you static sag up front and get the bike set up correctly for you.

You can also go with gold valve emulators to take away some of the harshness or lighter weight springs.

All of these solutions will be easier and cheaper than swapping out the forks.

Hi Pete,

There is lots if info on this site and the UK site on fork setup and mods, just try the search function.

I am just down the road in West Wales and often ride with the Carmarthen motorcycle club.

There is also a UK Versys meet in May

Cheers

If you are looking for info on adjusting the suspension to suit your weight, search for Speedy's Suspension Setup Guide. It's either on this forum or on the UK Versys forum.

Have seen the odd V solo last year around Llandovery, I'm on a black 07.

Hope you sort you suspension, Gustavo'e thread on the UK site is a great place to sort the standard suspension.
