Chain adjustment

Does the Versys need the chain adjusted after installing Speedy's lowering kit?
I installed the kit today and now my chain seems to be a little tight. Thanks

If your chain is not adjusted properly, you should adjust it, lowering kit or not.

Check your chain slack per the manual, and if it needs adjusting then do it.

My chain was tight after the install. I adjusted per manual.

I adjusted the chain on the V last night, I think the dealer adjusted it too tight when he set the bike up and when I installed the lowering kit it just seemed like it got a little tighter. I had 28,000 miles on my Bandit 1250 when I sold it and still on the original sprockets and chain and still good for a few thousand miles more. I always ran that chain a little on the loose side and used only gear lube on it.
