Hard starting when warmed up

I am just looking for possible causes, my versys starts first time everytime when I start it cold, but after its warmed up from riding awhile and i stop for gas or take a break and then go to restart it usually takes 3 or 4 attempts before she fires up. Does this happen to anybody else, anyone know why this might happen.

Plus this will be my 1000 post, finnally.

Those who say money can't buy happines haven't bought A VERSYS.

I'm really just guessing but I wonder if a vent is partially clogged...my theory....when you been riding its drawing fuel causing a vacuum situation in the tank....when it sits it has time to equalize the pressure....

I could be way off....

How many miles on the bike? Have you had a valve adjustment done? Hard starting when warm can be a symptom of overly tight valves...

What is your hot idle speed? Have you checked TPS voltage?

I had something very similar to this .

It would start first time, but then would not restart - this happened over a period of about 6 months until it got to the point that I could not start her at all.

Turned out it was a faulty relay but the mechanic had to go through testing everything to find it. Wasnīt a cheap repair but touch wood itīs been ok since.
