Clunking noise only in first gear.

I have recently started to notice a clunking noise and feel in only first gear with the clutch fully out. Not sure what this is. Its faint hard to hear and feel but its there. Anyone else having this issue?

You've got to describe it better than that for anyone to be able to help you.

Yeah I could point to a hundred different things right now. Clutch lever fully released, as you roll on the throttle? Does is happen as you put it into first (I'm not clear on what you mean)? More info please

What year is it? How many miles on chain and sprockets? Is it the engine that's bucking in the lean ~2800 rpm range?

Your chain might just be stretching out. When I replaced my chain and sprockets virtually all 1st gear clunking noises went away. Bike was also much smoother.

Also check your front sprocket. You may have broken teeth or very worn.
