Cooant from reservoir overflow tube

I filled my coolant reservoir about 3/4 inch above the Full line. Now when I shut the bike down after riding, it drips 3 or 5 drips out of the reservoir overflow tube. The drops are cold, so it does not seem to be coming out of a hot engine. The reservoir is the only place it could be coming from. My suspicion is that when I'm riding the over-filled coolant splashes up through the overflow outlet and runs down the tube.

Has this happened to anyone out there ?

I’ve always gotten a couple of drops when I shut it down hot. It’s not overflowing... it seem more like some vapor makes it up into the tube (which doesn’t extend into the reservoir) where it condenses & drips out. In 15,000 miles it lowered the level from the Max line to somewhat over the Min line.

Nothing to worry about... unless maybe your pets lick it
