Tail pipe getting black and dirty

I have noticed that my tail pipe is getting black and dirty, does this mean my bike is running rich? Or maybe I'm using bad fuel? 12 650, has O2 sensor, from Brazil.

Do ride hard? Black on the exhaust tip is (if I remember correctly) from unburned gasoline.

I've never seen a bike that didn't soot up the exhaust tip. Bike fueling is not typically as precise as car fueling, our EFI systems are akin to what cars were running 30 years ago. EFI is still less than 20 years old on bikes with sportbikes picking it up in the late 90s and cruisers picking it up in the mid-late 00s. Also much more common to see sooty exhaust tips at higher elevation, I live at 6000ft and even most cars have sooty exhaust tips up here (the ones on my 2015 Jeep certainly are).

Me too. That just looks a bit grey to me, NOT black! Check out a diesel's exhaust to see BLACK....
