Question Left side power connection under fairing? 2016 650 Versys

Hello all,

Does anyone know what the plug and open wire connections are for under the left side fairing?

I noticed them while trying to install some light brackets tonight and was under the front end of the bike.

Looking to see if they are keyed, fused, aux or tied into another circuit, etc.

I'm waiting for a shop manual, appreciate any assistance.

Page 73 of the owners manual on this site. The bullet connectors are for the grip heater and the socket for the fog lights, you will need to add a relay and are limited to 5 amp on this auxiliary cct. I used the cct to trigger a added cct from the battery using a separate fused cct and relay, rated at 25 amp, the original aux. cct I used for a USB charger.
Even though it says 2015, it is the same as the 2016. This manual should have come with your bike.

Kinda wish I'd read down to Glen's answer BEFORE I got MY OWNERS MANUAL open to page 73 to tell you....

If I am seeing and remembering correctly, I believe those are also used to install the 12V outlet and gear indicator. This video shows the connection of those accessories:
