Question R&G Radiator Guard install problem

I am installing this on my 2016 650 LT following the instructions (can be found here).

The last step is to replace one of the bolts holding the radiator fan on (the lower left one when looking from the front), which is accessed from the engine side of the radiator. Has anyone done this with a simple ratchet? At a first pass, I could not see a straightforward way to remove this bolt without removing the radiator as there does not seem to be enough room to crank the ratchet. Am I missing something?

The guard is currently held on by the four cable ties at the corners and seems pretty solid. It is rather light, so perhaps that is enough?

I have that radiator guard on my 2015 650 ABS but do not remember having trouble with that bolt. It is possible that I have had to use an open wrench.

I doubt it. I would install it as per the instructions.
Good luck!

I still have a full deck.
I just shuffle slower.

Thanks quexpress. I tried again and managed to get it. The bolt was recessed in a bracket so I could not get an open end on it. I managed with a box end from the side, eventually twiddling it out. The replacement bolt is easy as it can be turned from the front.
