Unfortunately, all my links for cheaper sources are gone. The word from Roadstercycle is Polaris just raised the price and supply may be limited. Roadster has SH847 which is the newer upgraded version from Shindengen . I am not going to bother with prices as everything is out to lunch.

This is the link for Roadster Home

This link is $30 less than all the other ridiculous prices, for how long who knows Polaris 4012941 - Regulator : Babbitts Polaris Partshouse

Looks like I may be trying to buy some used ones this winter, sad to see this . For all those sitting on the fence, too late!!:frown2:

Compu-Fire 55402 , be aware not all pictures posted are the correct regulator , the 55402 is a 5 wire out regulator, positive;negative;3 phase input, be aware they make single phase that look the same, except they have 4 wire

$150

http://www.2wheelpros.com/oem-parts/polaris-regulator-3ph-35a-series-105c-4012941-part.html $160

http://www.polarisparts123.com/cart $140
Compu Fire is about the same price, has a higher current rating, and will only fit on a 2015, with some difficulty, I say that because I had it on my 07, cooling fins were at right angles, and the foot print was larger. It was not a plug in regulator, so the end result between the Polaris and Compu Fire was the same ( both need splicing / crimp connectors) , however the Polaris could still be unplugged , whereas the Compu Fire has sealed integral wiring brought out, approx. 3 feet long, once you cut it back, you can't replace the wire from the regulator. For those questioning this, best to look at my 2015 install pictures.

Appear All Aftermarket Shunt

First two links, show a cross reference at the bottom, SH753 AA , last one says replaces SH775AA, someone wants to take a chance, better ask for a picture of the number, don't be surprised if the number doesn't exist.

FYI a little common sense kicks in here, when reputable sellers like Roadster Cycle says the price went through the roof, all suppliers are well over $140, yup price of that SH775AA looks good, also check the very reasonable shipping rate :thumbdown::thumbdown:

For those that don't know me, I am being sarcastic , some really crooked sellers out there, the last guy( not referring to the link here) I contacted 3 times, last email he said I could print the numbers 4012941 on myself!!

I purchased a used SH775 on Ebay

About one month ago, I have purchase a used SH775 - 4012941 for $28.60 USD delivered in Champlain, NY.

The seller was hillboyz01.

The description read: Polaris RZR 800s Voltage Regulator, Rectifier, Good Condition, Tested.

Note: He had previously confirmed that it was a genuine SH775 - 4012941. :thumb:

March 2017/ Used 4012941

Due to the erratic weather, there seems to be a surplus of used 4012941 regulators on fleabay, before purchasing, ask to see the opposite end of the connector with the part number shown, be careful, the shunt version is off by one digit, also shown is the SH #, a picture of what you should see is in this thread. Prices I have been able to get in the last month are $35 USD, don't worry about a little dirt or used, these regulators either work or don't.Also if they can't provide a picture, walk away, very likely shunt, that includes RM Stator, they have a posted replacement referenced to Polaris, it is in fact a shunt regulator, not series.

2015 650 Versys

Dam good price, I notice it dropped from $290, it is $415 in Canada. You don't say where you are in the world, I assume USA, where is your nearest Polaris dealer? I would suggest buying a new 4016868 from a Polaris dealer or buying a used 4012941 Polaris . Then buy a Triumph harness. I already have switched out my CompuFire on my 2015 and am running the 4016868 Polaris, put 340 KM on it on Saturday, about 6 hours run time.
I would not buy a CompuFire unless you got a deal from someone. Right now I am holding onto my CompuFire until mid June or until I complete my load testing on the 4016868, I had intended doing this Friday, not enough time and not taking things apart before my first ride of the season, weather has turned to crap again.
Maybe Thursday although the forecast is becoming weird like they have no clue, a high of 20'C, 10 to 15mm of rain with 4 hours of sunshine, what was 80% chance of rain this morning is now 40%, not sure why the don't include possible snow and freezing rain, so much for their forecasting. I need between 16'C and 20'C to run accurate tests.

Wait until after I run my tests, Polaris is the way to go.

I managed to buy a bogus one on eBay last year. Thanks to Onewizard, I found out soon enough and was able to return it. So, make sure that it's the real deal before you buy.

If you read this thread, post 17 and many others spell it out.
Both the 4012941 and SH775BA show on the end opposite the sockets, no markings expect that it is 99.99999% fake.If you find one and want a second opinion send a PM with a link to me.
